He just said my name.....
Gentle and tender
I was not the sameConsumed with my own affliction
And drowning in my sin
It was an accurate depiction
Of the hell I was living inFor the confusion in my heart and soul were deep
trapped, restrained, with nothing left but my weep
"But thus says the lord who created you"
Out of desperation, you began to speak
You lifted me out of distress
For It is you who I seekThe one who said " your sins are forgiven"
is the reason that I am living
my rags for your riches
I am indeed.... forgivenBecause one man saw my heart
who showed me love and kindness
He was there from the startIt was empty
A vacant room
A desolate cave
A devoid tombBut where did you go?
It didn't make sense
For three days prior you were laid to restDid you save me for nothing?...
But something happened
He just said my name...Only the Lord speaks with such compassion
Just like the day he set me free from the seven demons inside of me
that had power over meHis words meant so much
Tears of sorrow turned into tears of joyI can't comprehend what had happened next,
it's the last thing I would ever expectHe just said my name.....
and everything changed
There is no dispute
I am renewed.
